Greetings Falcons! Can you believe it is our 40th reunion?? How did this happen? Do you notice that you now speak in terms of "decades" instead of "years?" That is sobering. Anyway, lots has happened in the past 40 years - the most spectacular of which are my 2 kids, now ages 25 and 30 and launched into their careers and lives (no marriages or grandkids yet - but all in due time). I am employed as a Biological Sciences academic advisor at the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL (Big Ten basketball? - Dee Brown?) and have settled into single life after my divorce in 2002. My most recent accomplishment was a long distance (300 mile) bicycle trip in northern MN last summer. It was a benefit ride for MS and I had a blast and amazed myself at what my 57 year old body was able to do! But on a day-to-day basis, my life is full with meaningful work,friends and other joys.
