After graduation, I attended Georgia Tech, earning a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. I worked for IBM/NASA on the Saturn V rocket for the Apollo 7, 8, 10, 11 and 13 missions. After 3 years in the airline industry, I worked for Florida Power and Light in Miami, Florida for 28 years. I managed their telecommunications department and their communications emergency response plan for hurricanes and other emergencies. In 1983, I married Anne Grealy of Fort Lauderdale and in 1985, I earned an MBA from the University of Miami. We live in Coral Gables, FL and we have one son, Graham.
