After a 30-year career at AT&T, my wife and I decided that we needed to take a break from the hectic east coast life that we had lived for so many years. We decided to retire to the beautiful San Juan Mountains in SW Colorado. We live in a small town of 800 people. The county has one traffic light and more square miles than people! Our home has a 180 degree view of snow covered mountain peaks that range from 12-14K feet high. We hike old mining trails up into the mountains during the summer and snowshoe in the winter. We had originally planned to "drop out" for a couple of years, but we liked the life so much that we stayed. Life is good! I hope that yours is also!!
